ROCKY III (1982) - PG - HONORABLE MENTION
Sylvester Stallone, Mr T, Talia Shire, Burt Young
Summary - After winning the ultimate title and being the world champion, Rocky falls into a hole and finds himself picked up by a former enemy.
Cautions - Boxing and uh... training montages. And then some more boxing.
Commentary - Do you want a Rocky movie but the original is just too slow for you? Are you looking for an inspirational sports story that includes Mr. T? This is the movie for you!
To me this Rocky is the most fun. In large part it's success has to do with the character of Clubber Lang (Mr T), one of the most dynamic cinema villains. The story is serviceable but the audience comes for the spectacle and it delivers.
